Welcome.
We all know that our bodies change as we age.
We can see it. We can feel it.
But, did you know that our bodies’ needs change as we age too?
As we transition through perimenopause, menopause and beyond,
there are small (and big) changes that we can make to feel good again.
I can help you understand how your body is changing.
This will empower you to choose what (if any) lifestyle changes will help you.
And, finally, I can help you make these changes become habits
so that you feel good being you again.

What clients are saying...
“I wasn’t sure coaching would help but wanted to give it a try ... I’m still thinking about the truths we uncovered and feel like that insight will help guide me. I’m so thankful for the time Suzi took to get me to this point. I feel better equipped and more focused to continue this journey." --Liz
"I have made more progress in the last 4 weeks working with Suzi than I have in the last 20 years on my own.
-- Maria
"I am fairly self aware but more so now. Understanding the relationship between work and stress and how small interventions can improve both of these has been powerful. " --Emily
"Suzi asked great questions that helped me get to where I needed to be. She was a delight to work with: gentle, encouraging, wise, smart, fun. She was just the subtle kick in the pants I needed to follow thru on a plan." --Linda
“Suzi helped me understand the importance of genetic counseling that I was putting off because I was scared and in retrospect, didn’t understand it. Simultaneously,
she empowered me to take charge of my own health
and wellness and to focus on the things I can change.
Thank you, Suzi!” --Ali

My Jounrey to Health Coaching...
I have done a lot with my undergraduate nursing degree– from working in a hospital, to prenatal education, to medical advertising. But none of it was what I was expecting. There was no time to connect to people, little time to educate them, and even less time to help them learn how to prevent future illnesses. It felt like there was no point. So, I left.
Literally. My husband and I packed up our NYC apartment (and dropped our cat at my Mom’s house) and began a journey around the world with just the bags on our backs. The time away allowed us to take a breath, have some fun, and try some of the things we swore we would do if “only we had the time”.
We ran a marathon (that, no joke, had wine tasting every 10k).
We learned to SCUBA (and I learned that I’d rather not).
We read a lot of classics.
We drank too much beer at Oktoberfest and
We tried (and failed) to climb Mt Fuji.
People thought we were crazy to do this at 30.
And, looking back, it was a little risky
but … spoiler alert… it all worked out
Once we returned, we quickly settled back into jobs and family life; we tried our best to find the elusive work-life balance as working parents. I ended up taking a few design classes which led to years of flexible work in the design world. It was fun and challenging in a different way.
And then there was Covid. I noticed so many of us were WAY off track with our health & wellness. We knew what we “should” do but few of us seemed to be doing it.
So, I decided to start with a few small changes.
And, as often happens, one small change led to another...
I started eating real, plant-based food. Yes… this still included some dark chocolate.
I stopped drinking alcohol. This was a lot harder than this one little sentence sounds… until it wasn’t.
I prioritized sleep. I have no idea how I used to function as a new mom or working nights with so little sleep. Seriously. Consistent sleep makes such a difference.
I started a daily meditation practice. I am still trying to figure out why it is so hard just to sit still but I also think it just might be the answer to everything.
I started lifting HEAVY weights. And I love it.
I’m not special. Anyone can do it.
I had my own health coach.
Sometimes we all need a bit of support.
Or knowledge. Or maybe both.
And now, as a NBC-HWC,
I support others making
small (and big!) changes in their lives.
It feels good to focus on
holistic health and wellness again.
